These are the musings of a social marketer, a media critic, a sales dude who loves to evangelize new ideas, an ardent defender of liberty and private property rights despite spending more than 20 years surrounded by collectivists who want to use other people’s money to spread their ideas. I reject the “what’s yours is mine” mantra that seems to animate our society more and more, especially with regard to communications infrastructure and new technology. The world is going mobile, and innovators will thrive and people will flourish if the do-gooders and central planners are kept at bay.
